I am a frequent visitor to the Bahamas and I was last there a couple of years ago. Eco-tourism hasn’t realty caught on yet. I wouldn’t even consider checking tourist spots of Nassua or Freeport. If you want to experience the Bahamas start with the Abacos. As you continue south to the Berry Islands and Eluthera, settlements (cities) become fewer and further inbetween. Obviously, you can google “Bahamas’, but google “the Abaconian”, it’s an entertaining local newspaper of the Abacos.
